Wrangell had already won 12 in a row and they went ahead and made it 13 on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Hoonah Braves. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in October.

Wrangell didn't let Hoonah take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 28-26.

Alana Harrison paced Wrangell's offense, picking up seven kills. Harrison got some help from Christina Johnson and her 16 assists. Finally, Alexis Easterly kept Wrangell's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Wrangell's victory bumped their record up to 13-4-1. As for Hoonah, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-8.

Hoonah has already played their next match (against Skagway), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Wrangell will be paying especially close attention to the Braves' contest: after the Braves face off against Metlakatla, they'll take on Wrangell again on Saturday.
