Volleyball Recap: Davenport Central Takes a Loss

Davenport Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Clinton River Kings. If the Blue Devils were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the River Kings when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Davenport Central's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Clinton, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-8 record this season.

Davenport Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Wahlert on the 20th. As for Clinton, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Dubuque Senior on the 20th.
