Basketball Recap: Danville Comes Up Short

Danville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They lost 89-68 to the Tates Creek Commodores. If the Admirals were looking for revenge after losing 61-59 to them when the teams met back in November of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Danville's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Tates Creek, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 10-11 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Danville will challenge Nelson County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tates Creek, they will face off against Walton-Verona at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
