Meanwhile, Bristol Central was able to grind out a solid victory over Conard on Friday, taking the game 3-1.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-12, 23-25, 25-17.
Bristol Eastern better keep an eye on Azaria Rochester. She was instrumental in Bristol Central's win, getting 19 digs and one assist. Those 19 digs gave Rochester a new career-high.
Bristol Central was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Conard only served six.
Bristol Central's win bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Bristol Eastern, their victory bumped their record up to 11-7.
