            Baseball Recap: St. Edward Green Wave vs. Northridge Knights        
        
		
        
        
            St. Edward came into their game  on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against  the Northridge Knights, falling  26-12. The Green Wave were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in April of 2024.
  Anthony Leadley was cooking despite his team's loss,   going 3-for-5 with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Zach Wojtas, who  went 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and two  RBI.
St. Edward's loss was  their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Northridge, their record now sits at 11-14.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Edward will face off against Timothy Christian at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Northridge, they will challenge Alden-Hebron at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
