Meanwhile, Carter had to suffer through a 102-68 loss at the hands of Santiago. The defeat continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Sharks: they've now lost four in a row.

Hillcrest's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Carter, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
