Basketball Recap: Friday's Win Is Freedom's Seventh in Last Nine Outings

Freedom won the last time they faced Battlefield and things went their way on Friday too. The Freedom Eagles had just enough and edged the Battlefield Bobcats out 52-50.

Freedom has also been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.6 points per game. As for Battlefield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-10.

Freedom will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Osbourn at 7:00 p.m. As for Battlefield, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Battlefield Bobcats challenge the Unity Reed Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
