After a string of four wins, Braden River's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Legacy Lions. The shutout was out of character for the Pirates seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

Molly Horalek paced Braden River's offense, picking up four kills. Horalek got some help from Mia Mcguire and her 12 assists.

Legacy found their leader in sophomore Paisley Woods, who had 12 digs and five aces.

Braden River's loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Legacy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-7.

Braden River has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Winter Springs on the 4th. As for Legacy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Lake Mary on the 4th.
