Soccer Recap: Saugus Victorious

Saugus took a four-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Gloucester, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Sachems' defense stepped up to hand the Fishermen a 1-0 shutout on Wednesday. This was payback for Saugus, who suffered a 6-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Saugus' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Gloucester, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
