Basketball Recap: Tarpon Springs Comes Up Short

Tarpon Springs lost against Largo back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tarpon Springs Spongers had to suffer through a 68-29 loss at the hands of the Largo Packers. The Spongers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-17.

Tarpon Springs' defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Largo, their victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-15.

Tarpon Springs has already played their next game (against Hudson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Largo didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 60-49 loss against Braden River on the 17th.
