Basketball Recap: Webster County Takes a Loss

Webster County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Ohio County Eagles, falling 58-38. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Webster County's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Ohio County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-9 record this season.

Webster County has already played their next matchup (against Trinity), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Ohio County, they will head out on the road to face off against Butler County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Butler County's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
