Softball Recap: Jack Britt Takes a Loss

If Jack Britt was riding high fresh off their 10-4 takedown of Ashley last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Buccaneers came up short against the Lumberton Pirates on Tuesday, falling 12-4. The Buccaneers haven't had much luck with the Pirates recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Jack Britt saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kailey Crenshaw, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Jack Britt's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Lumberton, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season.
