Soccer Recap: Parkersburg Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Parkersburg was not quite Wheeling Park's equal in the second half on Thursday. They came up short against the Patriots, falling 5-0. If Parkersburg were looking for revenge after losing 4-1 to Wheeling Park when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Parkersburg's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8-1. As for Wheeling Park, they pushed their record up to 15-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home.
