Recap: Coeur d'Alene Vikings vs. Eagle Mustangs
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Coeur d'Alene Vikings had no problem doing just that on Friday. They won a match that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Eagle 7-6. Winning may never get old, but Coeur d'Alene sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Caden Symons threw for 125 yards on 12 of 22 attempts. Jayson Cady was his top target, picking up 38 receiving yards. On the ground, Owen Harris rushed for 49 yards.
Coeur d'Alene's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Eagle, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-1.
Coeur d'Alene is on the road again on Saturday and play against Highland at 1:00 p.m. on November 18th. Highland will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. Eagle does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
