Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger). Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Fort Wayne South Side Archers a 19-0 shutout on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Saints, who have now won eight matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Izzy Tudor was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. Those 13 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with three RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Brooklyn Baker was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and two RBI. Maeve Miltner was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three runs and two RBI.

Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 20 hits. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
