Basketball Recap: St. Paul's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Monday

After flying high against New London last Saturday, St. Paul came back down to earth. The St. Paul Flyers fell to the Mapleton Mounties 73-69. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (65), the Flyers still had to take the loss.

With the defeat, St. Paul broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-3. As for Mapleton, their record now sits at 7-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Paul will face off against Calvert at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mapleton, they will square off against Northwestern at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
