Softball Recap: Winslow Township Takes a Loss

Winslow Township was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against the Seneca Golden Eagles, falling 18-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 21-0 back in April.

Winslow Township's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Seneca, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-9.

Looking ahead, Winslow Township will host Camden at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 18.33 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of. Seneca has already played their next game (against Shawnee), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
