Volleyball Recap: Rim of the World Comes Up Short

Rim of the World came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Summit SkyHawks, falling 3-0. The Fighting Scots were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the SkyHawks earlier this season, when they won 1-0.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-10, 25-21.

Summit was led to victory by Hannah Reyes and Alexandra Bradley. Reyes had 11 digs and three aces, while Bradley had six digs and two aces. That's the most digs Reyes has posted over her last six matches.

Rim of the World's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Summit, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Rim of the World has already played their next game (against Rialto), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Summit also has no score uploaded for their next matchup, this one against Fontana.
