Softball Recap: Sullivan East Comes Up Short

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Sullivan East and David Crockett had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Patriots lost 17-1 to the Pioneers on Thursday. The Patriots haven't had much luck with the Pioneers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Sullivan East's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for David Crockett, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sullivan East will take on Dobyns-Bennett at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for David Crockett, they will square off against West Ridge at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
