Volleyball Recap: Streamwood Extends Winning Streak to Four

Streamwood won the last time they faced Rolling Meadows and things went their way on Thursday too. The Sabres came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 2-0. Winning may never get old, but the Sabres sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Streamwood easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-14.

Alexander Paz paced Streamwood's offense, picking up 11 kills. Paz got some help from John Garcia and his 15 assists. David Krebs controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Streamwood's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-6. As for Rolling Meadows, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-8.

Coming up, Streamwood will take on Wheeling in a tournament on Saturday. As for Rolling Meadows, they will welcome Maine West at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight.
