Softball Recap: Berkley Comes Up Short

Berkley fell victim to Seaholm and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Maples, falling 10-0. The Bears just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Berkley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alyse Muscat, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.

Berkley's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11-1. As for Seaholm, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Berkley will square off against Bloomfield Hills at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Seaholm, they will challenge Seaholm/Groves at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
