Basketball Recap: Watervliet Comes Up Short

Watervliet was the 43-29 winner over Maple Hill when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Watervliet Cannoneers fell 42-35 to the Maple Hill Wildcats on Friday.

Watervliet's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Maple Hill, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Watervliet will take on Duanesburg in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Maple Hill, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Maple Hill Wildcats challenge the Chatham Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on December 20th.
