Baseball Recap: Memphis Home Education Association's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Memphis Home Education Association's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They never let the Dallas HSAA Angels get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Memphis Home Education Association also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Not much got past Luke Sanders, who gave up just four hits to keep Dallas HSAA off the board. Sanders also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Memphis Home Education Association is 5-2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 6-10 otherwise.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jayce Griffith, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run. Memphis Home Education Association is undefeated when Griffith posts three or more hits, but 8-12-1 otherwise. Caleb Long was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

Memphis Home Education Association's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-12-1. As for Dallas HSAA, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-14-1.

Memphis Home Education Association wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 12-7 defeat against Lighthouse Christian on the 28th. Dallas HSAA does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
