After flying high against Buena Vista last Friday, Lamar came back down to earth. The Lamar Thunder fell just short of the Salida Spartans by a score of 67-65 on Saturday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (58), the Thunder still had to take the loss.

Perhaps the best among them was Jacob Dunning, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabrian Jacobs, who went 7-for-15 to rack up 18 points and eight boards.
