Washington entered their tilt with Wyandotte on Tuesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Wyandotte Bulldogs, posting a 74-29 victory. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 72nd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 256th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Washington's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but CamRon Fields led the charge by going 6 for 10 en route to 14 points in addition to seven steals and five assists. Another player making a difference was Jayden Boggess, who went 9 of 14 on his way to 19 points and three steals.

Washington pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 80.7 points per game. As for Wyandotte, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Coincidentally, Washington and Wyandotte will both be playing Atchison the next time they take the court. Wyandotte will host Atchison on Wednesday, while Washington will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
