Volleyball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Jefferson lost against Diego Rivera back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Jefferson lost 3-0 to Diego Rivera. The Democrats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Jefferson was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Diego Rivera's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-20, 25-23.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Diego Rivera, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-7.

Jefferson has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Math & Science College Preparatory on the 26th. As for Diego Rivera, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Santee on the 26th.
