Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Zoe Davidson and Eislee Boatman Lead Cedar Vale/Dexter to Victory

Cedar Vale/Dexter posted their biggest victory since January 23rd on Monday. They put the hurt on the Copan Hornets with a sharp 48-22 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

Leading Cedar Vale/Dexter to victory were Eislee Boatman and Zoe Davidson. Boatman went 7 of 17 on her way to 19 points along with eight rebounds and three steals, while Davidson dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 boards. The dominant performance gave Boatman a new career-high in rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Edee Boatman, who posted four points and six rebounds.

Cedar Vale/Dexter's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Copan, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Wesleyan Christian the next time they take the court. Cedar Vale/Dexter will head out to face Wesleyan Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Copan will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on December 17th.
