Soccer Recap: McLean Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for McLean's offense. They fell just short of the South County Stallions by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, McLean can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 199th, while South County are ranked 48th).

McLean dropped their record down to 5-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for South County, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2.

McLean has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Yorktown on the 2nd. As for South County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against West Springfield on the 2nd.
