Nezperce won the last time they faced Highland and things went their way on Thursday too. The Nezperce Nighthawks slipped by the Highland Huskies 28-27.

Helen Wilcox was Nezperce's leading scorer, having posted eight points.

When it comes to explaining why Highland lost, don't look at Kylee Beck. Despite the final result, she dropped a triple-double with ten points, 17 boards, and ten blocks. That's the most blocks Beck has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Hailey Click, who put up nine points.

Nezperce is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.2 points over those games. As for Highland, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-12.

Nezperce didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 55-17 victory against Kootenai on the 15th. Highland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
