Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask United South). They walked away with a 5-3 victory over the Laredo LBJ Wolves on Saturday. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Wolves, too.

United South's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 2-12. As for Laredo LBJ, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Looking ahead, United South is taking a road trip to take on Alexander at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Laredo LBJ, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Del Rio at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
