Basketball Recap: Shullsburg's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

Shullsburg won the last time they faced Albany and things went their way on Monday too. The Shullsburg Miners walked away with a 59-47 victory over the Albany Comets. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Miners as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

The victory got Shullsburg back to even at 5-5. As for Albany, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.

Shullsburg will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Belmont at 7:00 p.m. on February 18th. As for Albany, they are taking a road trip to challenge Juda at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
