Recap: Greeneview Rams vs. Northeastern Jets
The Greeneview Rams lost against the Northeastern Jets back in September of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Greeneview took a 14-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of Northeastern. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Greeneview in their matchups with Northeastern: they've now lost three in a row.
Northeastern found their leader in underclassman Diezel Taylor, who rushed for 117 yards and a touchdown.
Greeneview's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Northeastern, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.
Greeneview does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Northeastern will square off against Waynesville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Waynesville presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Northeastern in Ohio (Waynesville is ranked 117th, while Northeastern is ranked 333rd).
