Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Patagonia). They claimed a resounding 67-21 win over the Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind Sentinels. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Lobos considering their 25-point performance the matchup before.

Leading Patagonia to victory were Gavin Arbizo and Diego Carranza. Arbizo dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds, while Carranza went 6 of 8 en route to 12 points. What's more, Carranza also racked up four assists, the most he's had since back in November of 2023. Another player making a difference was Gabe Nunez, who went 5 for 7 on his way to 11 points and three steals.

Patagonia was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Despite the defeat, Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind saw an underclassman step up: freshman Irving Arizmendi posted ten points and four steals. That was a full 47.6% of Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind's points, marking the tenth time in a row he's scored more than a third of the team's points.

Patagonia's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-9. As for Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-12 record this season.

Patagonia will face off against Ray at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind, they will square off against Valley Union at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
