Basketball Recap: Gunnison Valley Bulldogs vs. North Sevier Wolves

Gunnison Valley was the 46-45 winner over North Sevier when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Gunnison Valley Bulldogs were just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 48-47 to the North Sevier Wolves. The Bulldogs were up 32-15 in the second quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Gunnison Valley's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rylee Bartholomew, who went 7 of 16 en route to 16 points in addition to eight boards and three steals. That was a full 34% of Gunnison Valley's points, marking the third time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points.
