Basketball Recap: Vintage Gets the Win

Vintage won the last time they faced Petaluma and Adar Yildiz did his part to make sure it happened again. The Crushers had just enough and edged out the Trojans 60-57 thanks in part to Yildiz, who dropped a double-double with 30 points and 11 boards. Vintage is 2-1 when Yildiz posts 15 or more points, but 1-2 otherwise.

The victory got Vintage back to even at 3-3. As for Petaluma, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Vintage will square off against Santa Rosa at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Crushers will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 53.25 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Petaluma, they will host Elsie Allen at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
