It's playoff time, and Homewood had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Hartselle Tigers by a score of 31-24 on Friday. The win was familiar territory for the Patriots, who have now won six matchups in a row.

Kaleb Carson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 127 yards and three TDs, while also throwing for 225 yards and one touchdown. Those 127 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Despite the loss, Hartselle still got an impressive performance from Carter Lee, who threw for 166 yards and three touchdowns.

Homewood's victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Hartselle, their loss dropped their record down to 10-2.

Homewood wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 35-17 defeat against Clay-Chalkville on the 21st. Hartselle does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
