Baseball Recap: Gilmer County Picks Up Fourth Straight Win at Home

While Gilmer County's victory against Ritchie County wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Titans had just enough and edged out the Rebels 9-8. The win continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Rebels: they've now won four in a row.

Colton Bush was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Jacob Stewart was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Ritchie County, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16-1.
