After a string of five wins, Hunt's good fortune finally ran out  on Thursday. They lost to the East Wake Warriors at home  by a   61-44 margin. The  game marked Hunt's lowest-scoring  contest so far this season.
 Despite the loss, Hunt still got an impressive performance from   Aarion Bryant, who  dropped  a double-double on 17 points and ten  rebounds.
 East Wake's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Amere Hall led the charge by  going 6 of 13  on his way to 15  points along with eight  assists and six  boards. The dominant performance gave  Hall a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Corban Woodard, who  went 5 of 7  on his way to 10  points and five  steals.
Hunt's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for East Wake, the  win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-7.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hunt will face off against South Johnston at 7:15  p.m.  on Tuesday. Hunt is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.2  points per game  this season. As for East Wake, they will take on Fike at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. One thing working in Fike's favor is that they have posted at least 55  points  every time they've taken the court this season.
