Soccer Recap: Atherton Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Atherton lost against Louisville Collegiate back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Ravens lost 9-1 to the Amazons & Titans. While losing is never fun, Atherton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky soccer rankings (they are ranked 58th, while Louisville Collegiate are ranked fourth).

Atherton's loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 9-7-1. As for Louisville Collegiate, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 15-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Atherton will head out to take on South Oldham at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Louisville Collegiate, they will venture away from home to challenge DuPont Manual at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
