Baseball Recap: Loyola Blakefield Comes Up Short

Loyola Blakefield lost against Mount St. Joseph last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Dons took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gaels. The Dons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Loyola Blakefield's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Mount St. Joseph, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.

Looking ahead, Loyola Blakefield will face off against Archbishop Curley at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mount St. Joseph, they will take on Towson at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Gaels 4, the Generals 2.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
