Soccer Recap: Taylor County's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

The win was the third in a row for Taylor County, bringing their record up to 10-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matches. As for Port St. Joe, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-3-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Taylor County will take on Franklin County in a holiday battle at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Port St. Joe, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on North Bay Haven Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
