Calvary Christian had already won seven in a row dating back to last season and they went ahead and made it eight on Monday. They blew past the Mount Calvary Christian Warriors 3-0. The Cougar have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Calvary Christian took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-4, 25-14, 25-13.

Calvary Christian's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Mount Calvary Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Calvary Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Shining Light Academy at 5:00 p.m. on September 2. As for Mount Calvary Christian, they are taking a road trip to square off against Matthews Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
