Baseball Recap: Compton Comes Up Short

Compton's last matchup with Jordan could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Friday. Compton came up short against Jordan, falling 7-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tarbabes of the 5-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Compton is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-4-1. As for Jordan, they now have a winning record of 6-5-1.

Coming up, Compton will head out to challenge Rancho Dominguez at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Rancho Dominguez will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Compton surely won't give up without a fight. As for Jordan, they will host Lakewood at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
