Soccer Recap: West Park Comes Up Short

West Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Kennedy Cougars. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-0 back in January.

Their goal came courtesy of Lucas Ribas, who's now up to six this season.

West Park's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11-3. As for Kennedy, their victory bumped their record up to 12-4-3.

West Park will welcome Cordova at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kennedy, they will square off against Grant at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Grant will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Kennedy surely won't give up without a fight.
