Baseball Game Preview: Kress Kangaroos vs. Shamrock Irish

The Kress Kangaroos will challenge the Shamrock Irish at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Kress has given up an average of 10 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Kress is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 15 runs on Saturday, they were much more limited against San Jacinto Christian Academy on Monday. They came up short against the Patriots, falling 13-2. The Kangaroos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kress saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Drew Morphis, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Shamrock). They put the hurt on White Deer with a sharp 15-3 victory on March 1st. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Irish.

The win got Shamrock back to even at 2-2. As for Kress, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9.
