It's playoff time, and Hickory had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the East Lincoln Mustangs on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Red Tornadoes in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won seven in a row.

Hickory not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept East Lincoln between 13 and 16 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-13, 25-16.

Hickory's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ella Kate Stewart, who had 12 digs and two assists. Ryan Hines was another key player, getting 13 assists and three digs.

Hickory's win bumped their record up to 31-4. As for East Lincoln, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-18.
