Softball Recap: Menlo-Atherton Takes a Loss

Menlo-Atherton lost against Hillsdale back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Menlo-Atherton took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hillsdale. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Juliana Pandolfo made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 1-for-2. Carey Maletis also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Menlo-Atherton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Hillsdale, they now have a winning record of 3-2-1.

Menlo-Atherton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 19-6 victory against Silver Creek on the 19th. As for Hillsdale, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Woodside on the 20th.
