Baseball Recap: York Suburban Comes Up Short

York Suburban had lost six straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 3-17 to make it seven. They lost 7-0 to the Central Dauphin East Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 19-7 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2025.

As for Central Dauphin East, their record is now 8-12. They not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 19th (when they won 15-0).

For Central Dauphin East's part, Jeison Lista made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Lista has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

In other batting news, Noah Davidson was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. He has become a key player for Central Dauphin East: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 5-12 otherwise. Alex Brandt also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

As of now, neither York Suburban nor Central Dauphin East have any future games scheduled.
