Soccer Recap: Cosby Takes a Loss

Cosby was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 4-0 to the Midlothian Trojans. While losing is never fun, Cosby can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 114th, while Midlothian are ranked 17th).

Cosby now has a losing record of 5-6-1. As for Midlothian, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1.

Coming up, Cosby will take on Atlee at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Midlothian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against James River Midlothian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. James River Midlothian will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Midlothian surely won't give up without a fight.
