Crimson Cliffs is a perfect 10-0 against Pine View since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Mustangs will host the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Crimson Cliffs has three straight victories, Pine View has six straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Friday, Crimson Cliffs made easy work of Snow Canyon and carried off a 13-5 win.
Jordyn Cluff spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned runs on 11 hits and racked up seven Ks.
On the hitting side, Nyah Snyder was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Maddy Abbott, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Crimson Cliffs was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .419. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in four consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Pine View fell victim to Dixie and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 15-0 to the Flyers.
Pine View saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kylie Carpenter, who went 1-for-2 with one double.
Crimson Cliffs' victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Pine View, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-17.
Crimson Cliffs got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in May of 2025 against Pine View by a conclusive 11-1 score. Do the Mustangs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
